Do you have to be in the park to book DAS Pass?

The Guest who is requesting to use DAS must be present during registration (in person or live video call) and when redeeming a DAS return time at Walt Disney World theme parks.

You do not need to be physically inside a Disney theme park to register for the Disability Access Service (DAS) pass, but you must be in the park to request your first return time of the day. As of 2026, the registration process is primarily handled via a live video chat with a Disney Cast Member, which can be done between 2 to 30 days before your visit. This allows travelers to have their eligibility determined and their pass linked to their account from the comfort of their home. During this video call, the person requesting the DAS must be present. If you do not register in advance, you can still do so on the day of your visit via a virtual chat while at the park, but there is no longer a dedicated "in-person" desk for registration at Guest Relations. Once registered, the pass is valid for the length of your ticket (up to 120 days). On the day of your visit, the DAS "Self-Selection" tool in the My Disney Experience or Disneyland app will only become active once your park ticket has been scanned at the front gate, confirming you are physically present in the park for that day.
