You can't do everything at Disneyland in a single day, and you shouldn't feel pressure to. You can ride all the rides without much difficulty many days, but you'll miss out on some other attractions, entertainment, and characters. You'll want to know what your priorities are before you get to the park.

Genie Plus is definitely worth it for Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, and if you don't like early starts, you might consider it for Epcot and Animal Kingdom. If you are park hopping, Genie+ is even better value as it maximises the number of rides you have access to.

Theme park tickets are sold in full day increments – there are one-day tickets and multi-day tickets. There is so much to see and take in, you'll need at least one full day, even if you visit only one park!

Genie+ rides are not guaranteed. The most popular rides can run out of available Genie+ Lightning Lane selections. We usually see this later in the day for most attractions. However, the most popular ones can run out within minutes during busier periods.

Pros: Individual Lightning Lanes can save you from brutal wait times that can climb to 100 minutes or more. Also, keep in mind that Rise of the Resistance tends to break down quite frequently, and you could get stuck in an already monstrously long line for even longer if this happens.

A Magic Kingdom itinerary is simply a must if your family only has one day at Disney World. The main reason being the Magic Kingdom Park is by far the most-visited theme park in the world.

As a general matter, Animal Kingdom is the park that requires the least strategy and is the easiest place to beat the crowds in all of Walt Disney World. It doesn't require Genie+ or Individual Lightning Lanes, and is pretty easy to knock out everything–and then some–if you stay for a full day.
