Do you need ID for SNCF?

Only ticketed passengers are admitted to the boarding area. Only one accompanying adult is authorized to access the platform for certain passengers3. You may be asked for your original, valid ID and, if applicable, your discount card or season ticket when your ticket is checked. Remember to keep these documents handy.
