Do you need Park Hopper for extended evening hours?

Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are included as a complimentary benefit of staying at a Deluxe or DVC resort. However, you still need a valid theme park ticket and park reservation for the park you are visiting for extended evening hours unless you have a park hopper or annual pass.

Things to Know About Disney After Hours The event officially begins a few hours later (see the list below). You won't need a Disney Park Pass theme park reservation or a regular theme park ticket to get in as long as you enter the park no earlier than 7:00 PM.

The answer is “it depends.” That's because you can only hop to a park that hasn't yet reached capacity. If a park is at its full capacity, you cannot park hop there. The good news is that there's a way to check if a park is at full capacity BEFORE you make the trip to it.

On the app, click on the menu (three horizontal lines) toward the bottom of your screen. When the menu appears, tap on Tickets and Passes. When you do so, a description of your tickets will appear.
