Do you still need to wear a mask at the Orlando airport?

Masks are no longer required at Orlando International Airport and its facilities. Face Mask Update: TSA will no longer enforce Security Directives and Emergency Amendment requiring mask use on public transportation and transportation hubs. Face masks are now optional in our airport and facilities.

In most public places in Central Florida, masks are not required. Individual businesses do have a right to require masks. Many had already begun only requiring unvaccinated individuals to wear them. Masks will continue to prevail in health care facilities like hospitals.

While Disney could pick up and move some of its businesses from Orlando to another state, Disney World and its other theme parks aren't going anywhere. Moving all the infrastructure, including hotels, restaurants and shops as well as transportation to move guests around, just wouldn't be feasible.

Get ready to fly If your destination requires it, you should complete your test and receive your fit-to-fly certificate before your international flight. Carry proof of your negative test result with you throughout your journey, as it will be needed at check in and when you arrive in your destination.
