Does 1000 Islands have a beach?

There are two sand beaches at Thousand Islands National Park. One is on Central Grenadier Island and the other is on Thwartway Island. However, there are plenty of great swimming rocks and docks throughout the park.

The 1000 Islands Tower is located on Hill Island Canada. Guests arriving from Canada do not need a passport. Guests arriving from the U.S. need to cross the border and need a passport.

Pedestrians may cross the American Span of the Thousand Islands Bridge using the sidewalk on the west side of the bridge (adjacent to southbound lanes) and is only open during daylight hours unless noted on our home page. Parking is available at the 1000 Islands Welcome Center located at the mainland end of the bridge.
