Can I use a 16-25 Railcard at peak times? Yes. You can use your Railcard with Anytime, Off-Peak train tickets and Advance tickets. However, for all journeys made between 4.30am and 10am Monday to Friday a minimum fare of £12 is payable.
You can buy Network Railcard discounted tickets for travel any time on weekends and public holidays or from 10:00am Monday to Friday. You may be able to start your journey a little earlier than 10:00am, see the time restriction easements section for details or check at your local station.
16-17 Saver gives 50% off Standard Anytime, Standard Off-Peak, Standard Advance and Season tickets for travel at any time of the day. The 16-25 Railcard is aimed at leisure travel and gives 1/3 off Standard Anytime and Standard Off-Peak tickets, as well as Standard and First Class Advance tickets.

This depends on the type of railcard some railcards are only valid on Off-peak fares such as the 26-30 railcard, others are available to use all day such as the Senior railcard.
