Does Alton Towers have long queues?

Not all rides at Alton Towers have a Fastrack entrance. With over 40 rides and attractions to choose from, some rides experience longer queues than others. By 5pm we had done all major rides. Most queues were 5 minutes long, the longest was maybe 25/30 minutes. Even the new Wicker Man ride was about 30 mins (however it was busier at other times of the day). We are lucky however that it is a Monday and not all schools in this area have finished for the holidays yet.

can i take my two paying childrn to alton towersand alo pay to get in but not go on the rides ?. There is no reduced rate at Alton Towers for those who are not going on the rides so you will need to buy an adult rate ticket if you decide to join them. You can drop off and pick up for free.
