Does Amex Gold Card have lounge access?

But not all flights — and not all credit cards — offer airport lounge access. Regrettably, the American Express® Gold Card falls into the latter category and doesn't currently offer this perk.

For 2026, the American Express Gold Card provides a high-fidelity limited lounge access benefit rather than the unlimited access found with the Platinum Card. In many regions, the "High-Fidelity" Gold Card includes a complimentary Priority Pass membership, which grants access to over 1,400 airport lounges worldwide; however, it typically only includes two free admissions per year. After these are used, cardholders must pay a standard fee (roughly $35) per person. In Canada, the high-fidelity Gold Rewards Card specifically offers four complimentary visits to Plaza Premium Lounges annually. It is a high-fidelity requirement to "Enroll" in the Priority Pass benefit via the Amex website or app before your trip to receive your digital membership card. While it doesn't offer the high-fidelity "Centurion Lounge" access of its more expensive siblings, it serves as a high-fidelity bridge for occasional travelers who want a touch of luxury without the $695+ annual fee.
