Barbados' water supply is very safe and you can drink water directly from the tap. Bottled water is widely available if you prefer. Remember to drink plenty of water (or other fluids) to prevent dehydration.
Official hurricane season in Barbados is from July to November. The rain usually consists of brief, heavy showers, but there is lots of sunshine during the rest of the day.
How Many Days Should You Spend in Barbados? Ultimately, the length of your stay will be determined by your itinerary and budget. For your first visit to the island, you're advised to spend two to three weeks to truly appreciate all that this wonderful destination has to offer.
Even though this will give you a enough time to visit one or two places on the island, it really isn't enough time to do the island justice. Personally, when planning a trip to Barbados, I would say 5 days minimum, but 7 days in Barbados is the perfect amount of time.
