Delta Air Lines provides free blankets to passengers, but their availability depends heavily on the route and cabin class. For international long-haul flights (transoceanic) and long-haul domestic flights (such as those to Hawaii), Delta provides a complimentary pillow and blanket to every passenger, including those in Main Cabin and Basic Economy. In premium cabins like Delta One, passengers receive upgraded bedding, often featuring high-end missoni-branded duvets and pillows as part of a recent 2025–2026 refresh. On shorter domestic U.S. flights, blankets are generally not provided in the Main Cabin to reduce weight and turnaround times, though they are usually available for passengers in First Class or Delta Comfort+. If you are a passenger in the back of the plane on a short flight, it is a "gold standard" travel tip to bring your own travel blanket or scarf, as the cabins are often kept quite cool and the airline's supply is strictly reserved for longer journeys.
