Does Disney Dining Plan include dessert?

Enjoy unparalleled service and cuisine, with a touch of Disney magic. Served by our friendly waiting staff, your Table-Service meal includes one main course, one dessert (at brunch, lunch and dinner only) and one drink. Enjoy exceptional dining experiences including: Buffets and family-style meals.

The inclusion of dessert in the Disney Dining Plan depends on the type of meal you are redeeming in 2026. For Table-Service meals, a dessert is standardly included for both lunch and dinner; it typically consists of one "standard" dessert item from the menu. If you are dining at a buffet or family-style location, the "dessert" is simply part of the all-you-care-to-enjoy experience. However, for Quick-Service (counter-service) meals, a dessert is not included as part of the meal credit. A Quick-Service credit covers one entree and one beverage (including specialty drinks or alcohol for those 21+). If you want a sweet treat after a Quick-Service meal, you must use one of your separate "Snack" credits. Disney also allows guests to substitute their Table-Service dessert for a side salad, a cup of soup, or a fruit plate if they prefer a healthier option, providing a bit more flexibility for different dietary needs.
