Does Disney not allow tattoos?

While they do allow some flexibility in terms of hairstyles and facial hair for Cast Members, visible tattoos and piercings are generally not permitted. Disney typically requires Cast Members to cover visible tattoos with clothing or makeup. I want to work for Disney World, but I have face and hand tattoos.

Disney does allow tattoos for both guests and employees (Cast Members), but there are specific guidelines regarding content. For Guests, visible tattoos are permitted as long as they do not contain objectionable language or designs (such as profanity, violence, or sexually explicit imagery). If a guest has a tattoo deemed inappropriate, they may be asked to cover it or be denied entry. For Cast Members, Disney significantly relaxed its "Disney Look" policy in 2021. As of 2026, employees are allowed to have visible tattoos, provided they are not on the head, face, or neck, and are no larger than the size of the employee's hand. Tattoos must still adhere to the "appropriate content" rule. This change was part of a broader initiative to promote inclusivity and allow staff to express their personal style while maintaining a family-friendly atmosphere.
