Does Disney provide towels at Typhoon Lagoon?

You can also rent towels at Typhoon Lagoon which can be easier than bringing any in your suitcase from home or from your hotel. There are $2 per towel for non-resort guests. Towels for guests staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel are free.

Disney does provide towels at Typhoon Lagoon, but they are only complimentary for guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel. If you are a resort guest, you simply go to the "Singapore Sal's" or "High 'N Dry" towel stations and scan your MagicBand, MagicMobile, or Key to the World card to receive your towels for free. You are expected to return them to the designated bins before you leave the park. For non-resort guests (Day Guests), towels are not free; they are available for rent for a small fee (usually around $2–$5 per towel). Because of this rental fee, many local visitors and off-site guests choose to bring their own beach towels from home to save money. It is also worth noting that unlike the towels in your hotel room, the water park towels are often a standard white or striped variety and are somewhat smaller than a full-sized beach towel. If you are planning to spend the whole day lounging, bringing a large, plush towel of your own might be more comfortable regardless of your resort status.
