Does Disney World do drink refills?

The following locations in the Theme Parks have self-serve soda fountains where guests can get their own drink refills: Sunshine Seasons at EPCOT. Backlot Express and ABC Commissary at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Restaurantosaurus and Satu'li Canteen at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

At Walt Disney World, free drink refills are exclusive to the Resort hotels and are not generally available inside the four main theme parks. To get refills, guests can purchase a Refillable Resort Mug (currently $22.99 in 2026) at any Disney-owned hotel. This insulated mug features an RFID chip that "activates" the soda dispensers at any resort food court or pool bar for the duration of your stay (up to 14 days). You can refill it with soda, coffee, hot chocolate, or tea. Inside the theme parks (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom), your resort mug will not work at the fountains. If you buy a fountain drink at a Quick Service location in the parks, it is a one-time purchase, although you can always get free cups of iced water at any counter service location. There are very few exceptions in the parks, such as the Connections Eatery in EPCOT or Backlot Express in Hollywood Studios, which occasionally feature self-service stations where you can refill a paper cup from your current meal.
