Florida weather is finicky — it can be sunny, hot, and bright one minute and then pouring rain the next. So the weather is often the main reason that fireworks get canceled. But even if it's beautiful outside, if there are high winds, Disney will cancel fireworks.

Here's the good news: Rain can be your biggest advantage during your visit. Since Disneyland is so embedded into our life here in Southern California, a good amount of guests are typically locals. And, locals often stay home during the rain. So, take advantage of lower lines and less crowds.

However, a Cast Member at the security checkpoint may ask to open your bottle to check its contents, since metal water bottles are opaque. Just keep in mind that alcoholic beverages and glass containers aren't allowed inside the Disneyland Resort, as stated in the Rules.

Slinky Dog Dash is in Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Since it's an outdoor attraction, it shuts down in heavy rain and if there's severe weather or lightning in the area. Much of the queue is exposed to the elements, and even the portion of the queue that's covered isn't enclosed. And it can get HOT.
