Does Disneyland hotel let you check in early?

A: You can check in anytime to the Disneyland Resort hotels, but rooms are available after 3:00 PM. Check-out time is by 11:00 AM. If you arrive early to your Disneyland Resort hotel, you can check in, store your luggage at the Bell Desk and enjoy the Disneyland Resort.

The Disneyland Hotel, along with the other onsite properties (Grand Californian and Pixar Place), allows you to start the check-in process as early as you arrive, even if your room isn't ready. Official check-in is at 3:00 PM, but you can use the Online Check-In feature on the Disneyland app to notify them of your arrival time. If you get there in the morning, the front desk can store your luggage at Bell Services and provide you with your room keys (or digital key) so you can head straight to the parks. In 2026, the traditional "Early Entry" benefit (access to the parks 30 minutes before the general public) has been replaced with a new perk: guests staying at an onsite Disney hotel now receive one expedited Lightning Lane entry per stay that can be used at any time. This allows you to enjoy a popular attraction with minimal wait as soon as you arrive, even if your room isn't ready until later in the afternoon.
