Nicole, you can certainly use cash as a form of payment throughout Disneyland Resort. Although, I must say it is very convenient to make in-app purchases using the Disneyland mobile app. There is a workaround to this if you'd like to use cash but also use the app.

I have brought $100 bills to WDW several times and have never had any trouble having them accepted in the parks and resorts. If you had any concerns, you could go to the front desk of your hotel and periodically ask them to change your $100s into $20s. They should be able to do this for you with no problem at all.

They will open everything. wallets, sunglass cases, camera cases, boxes of any kind, organizers, etc… If you don't have a bag, you'll have to empty your pockets into a tray and go through a metal detector. We have a clear backpack.
