Does EPCOT close early?

Usually EPCOT will close at 9PM but for nights it offers Extended Evening Hours it will stay open until 11PM. Extended Evening Hours isn't offered daily but on a sporadic schedule set by Disney. These hours will be offered more frequently during peak travel times like holidays, summer, etc.

We always allow ourselves 2 days for Epcot. It's so big, you really need time. It really depends on what those 8 rides are. For example, you will only be able to FastPass either Soarin or Test Track because they are both Tier 1 FastPasses.

Walking Distances at EPCOT EPCOT is more than two times the size of Magic Kingdom, coming in at 300 acres total. Just the walk around World Showcase alone is 1.2 miles. If you walk completely around Future World and World Showcase, you'll be at 3 miles easily.

So when should you visit for the lowest crowds, generally? Go on a Wednesday! Fewer guests head to EPCOT mid-week and you can hopefully then walk up to the festival booths without having to wait in long lines. As a bonus tip — make sure to visit the festival booths early in the day.

The EPCOT fireworks showtime is usually 9:00pm, every night. Epcot Forever is a temporary show, they run it while they are doing lagoon work so it's short and to the point.

As a general matter, Animal Kingdom is the park that requires the least strategy and is the easiest place to beat the crowds in all of Walt Disney World. It doesn't require Genie+ or Individual Lightning Lanes, and is pretty easy to knock out everything–and then some–if you stay for a full day.
