Does EPCOT take cash?

You are welcome to use cash throughout your vacation. Please note that some kiosks and carts may have an attendant who doesn't accept cash based on their available technology and space limitations of the moveable location.

In 2026, EPCOT remains a largely "cash-friendly" environment for standard retail and dining, though the park has significantly accelerated its transition toward a cashless "digital-first" experience. Most permanent quick-service restaurants, table-service locations, and merchandise shops still accept physical U.S. currency. However, a major shift has occurred at the seasonal event kiosks; many "Food Studios" during festivals like the International Food & Wine Festival have transitioned to cashless-only terminals. These booths now primarily accept credit cards, debit cards, mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay), and Disney Gift Cards. If you only have cash, you can visit a retail location to purchase a Disney Gift Card with your physical money and then use that card at the festival booths. This operational shift is designed to decrease transaction times and reduce cash-handling logistics. Additionally, guests are encouraged to use the "Mobile Food & Drink Ordering" feature in the My Disney Experience app for convenience, which requires a saved digital payment method and does not support cash transactions.
