Does everyone in your party need a MagicBand at Disney?
The person who has DAS goes first.Then everyone else can scan in after them. If some party members do not have a MagicBand, they can still use their phone or a park ticket to redeem it. MagicBand+ is simply another option.

You are not required to purchase new bands for each stay. If you have older MagicBands, Disney encourages you to bring those with you. Alternatively, if you don't have a MagicBand and don't want to purchase one, you may get a Key to the World card at your resort and use that to unlock your door and enter your room.
If you're staying “off property” you can use a Magic Band as your park admission, to check in for Lightning Lanes, access the Disney World Virtual Queue, and for Photo Pass. You will NOT be able to charge purchases on your band, however.
