Does flight following clear you through Class B?

Flight following by itself doesn't clear you into airspace. If you were looking to transit a Class B for example, you'd need to be explicitly cleared in.

Talking to a Center or Approach controller on flight following does not necessarily satisfy the requirement for communication with the controlling agency: the Class D tower.
