Daily food and beverage credit or complimentary breakfast. Gold members and above receive a credit (in the U.S.) or free breakfast when staying with Hilton. Late check-out. Diamond members can request up to a 4 p.m. check out.
If you are an Hilton Honors guest with Diamond status, you and up to one additional registered guest in the same room will always enjoy complimentary access to the Executive Floor Lounge, even if your stay is not booked on or upgraded to the Executive Floor.
To qualify, you must complete 30 stays, stay 60 nights or earn 120,000 base points in a calendar year. However, primary cardholders of the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card (see rates and fees) enjoy complimentary Diamond status as a perk of their card.
Generally, hotels have an unwritten and unpublished allowance for late check-outs, and often also will allow you to pay a little extra should you wish/request a later checkout.
The highest Hilton Honors status is Diamond. Diamond status will afford you benefits including space-available room upgrades, 100% points earning bonus on stays, elite status gifting and more.
Can Hilton Diamond members check in early? Unfortunately, this isn't guaranteed, even for top-tier status holders. Availability varies by property, but it never hurts to ask.
Once you have reached a certain elite tier, you may keep your status for the calendar year in which the elite tier was earned and the subsequent calendar year. To make it easier to keep your elite tier status, reward stays count toward elite tier qualification.
Gold status will remain in effect until Dec.31 of the subsequent year in which you earned it. So if you achieve Hilton Honors status in the summer of 2023, it would be good through Dec. 31, 2024.
