Yes, London City Airport (LCY) has a full passport control and immigration facility for all arriving international passengers. Because it is a smaller airport compared to Heathrow or Gatwick, the process is often significantly faster and more efficient. The arrivals hall is located on the ground floor of the terminal, and after deplaning via stairs (as LCY does not use jet bridges), you walk directly into the immigration area. The airport is equipped with eGates for biometric passport holders from the UK, EU, USA, Canada, Australia, and several other nations, which typically allows for a very quick clearance—sometimes in as little as 5 to 10 minutes. However, if you are arriving on a domestic flight from within the UK or a flight from the Common Travel Area (like Ireland), you will bypass passport control and go straight to baggage reclaim. For all other international arrivals, including those from Europe, a valid passport and, where applicable, a visa or ETA are required to pass through the border.
