Does St Pete beach get crowded during spring break?

Nearly everywhere in Florida will be busy during that time. That said, both St Pete Beach and Treasure Island have long beaches with plenty of waterfront. You will not be sitting towel-to-towel. The areas right in front of the busiest hotels will, of course, be somewhat more crowded.
