Does Swan Hotel use MagicBands?

No. The stores and restaurants at the Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve aren't on Disney's payment system. If you're staying at another Disney World resort, you can't pay for things at the Swan and Dolphin hotels using either MagicBand or MagicMobile.

In 2026, the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve hotels still operate with limited MagicBand functionality because they are Marriott-owned "on-site" partner hotels rather than Disney-owned resorts. While you can use a MagicBand or MagicBand+ at these hotels for park entry and Lightning Lane access (provided you have linked your tickets in the My Disney Experience app), you cannot use the band for room entry or to charge purchases to your hotel folio. For room access, guests must use the traditional plastic key cards provided at check-in or the digital key feature within the Marriott Bonvoy app. This distinction is often a surprise to guests who expect the "full" Disney bubble experience. However, the Swan and Dolphin still offer other key perks, such as Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours, making them a high-value choice for Marriott loyalists despite the lack of full MagicBand "room and pay" integration.
