While the seats themselves are modern and ergonomically designed by Recaro, the standard pitch can feel cramped for taller passengers on 8-hour flights. In 2026, TAP's unique "Stopover" program remains a highlight, but for maximum comfort, it is highly recommended to pay the small upgrade fee for the EconomyXtra section.
