Does the person with the DAS pass have to ride the ride?

The guest who has the DAS must ride with the guests in their party and must scan their ticket first before other party members or an error message will occur. Each person must scan their park ticket upon entering. You have to enter the ride queue together, but there is still time for your froglet to change their mind.
