Does the Staten Island Ferry stop at Battery Park?

The St. George route connects Staten Island with the West Side of Manhattan in Battery Park City and Midtown West. NYC Ferry riders using the Midtown West/W. 39th Street landing have access to free shuttle buses that provide service throughout Midtown.

The Staten Island Ferry does not stop inside Battery Park, but its Manhattan terminal is located directly adjacent to it. The ferry departs from and arrives at the Whitehall Terminal, which is situated at the southernmost tip of Manhattan, immediately next to the historic Battery (formerly known as Battery Park). When you exit the ferry terminal, you are just a few steps away from the park's entrance, the SeaGlass Carousel, and the departure points for the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island ferries. The ride itself is a 5-mile, 25-minute journey from the St. George Terminal on Staten Island and is famously 100% free for all passengers. It operates 24/7, providing one of the best views of the Statue of Liberty and the Lower Manhattan skyline. While the ferry terminal is technically a separate structure at 4 Whitehall Street, the two are so close that locals and tourists often consider them part of the same waterfront experience at the "tip of the island."
