Does travel fund expire?

You need to click on View Details to see the balance of the individual travel fund reservations. Here, you find the expiration date and balance for each reservation. As of July 28, 2022, any unexpired funds and any funds created from there on out will no longer expire.

That person would have to book their own flight using the travel fund, though. You won't be able to use your travel fund to book for someone else. Wanna Get Away fares are not eligible to transferred, so they can only be used by the ticketed passenger.

Travel funds cannot be retroactively applied to a reservation, and we can't extend expiration dates. Our travel funds policy is extremely flexible - you have an entire year from the date of purchase to use your funds. I hope you'll be able to squeeze in an extra trip!

Book Another Trip Because most airlines let you book trips 11 months in advance, and because you can book travel that will occur after a voucher's expiration date, the lack of change fees means you can rebook trips long after credits will expire.

Flight Credits – A maximum of three flight credits can be applied per Passenger on each reservation. If your purchase exceeds the amount available on the three flight credits, you will only be allowed to use two of the flight credits and another form of payment will be required for the difference.

Re: Cancel flight and request refund No fee to cancel, but type of refund depends on fare type purchased. You'll either get a credit for future use (Wanna Get Away fare, complete rebooked travel within one year of original purchase) or refund (Business Select and Anytime fares).
