Universal CityWalk Once the sun sets, Universal's CityWalk is one of the busiest places in the area – and for good reason! You can watch great live shows, listen to top musicians, enjoy a meal, shop till late, play mini-golf or simply stroll the avenue and soak up the festive experience.



Universal Orlando Resort offers a vibrant nightlife experience that contrasts sharply with the daytime family hustle. Within the parks, the primary evening draw is the "CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular" lagoon show at Universal Studios Florida, which uses 228 fountains, 4K projection mapping, and drones to celebrate iconic film scores. Over at Islands of Adventure, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter often features the "Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle," a projection show that paints the school in the colors of the four houses. However, the real hub of nighttime activity is Universal CityWalk, which stays open until 2:00 AM. This entertainment district features themed bars like "Pat O'Brien's," live karaoke at "Rising Star," and specialized dining. During the fall, the resort hosts "Halloween Horror Nights," which is arguably the most famous nighttime theme park event in the world, transforming the entire Studios park into a series of terrifying haunted houses and "scare zones" that run late into the early morning hours, catering to a much older, thrill-seeking demographic.

Its skip-the-line system (Universal Express Pass) is much more expensive and much less complicated than Disney's Genie+ / Lightning Lane system.
