How do Disney drink cups work?

You can purchase the mug at the beginning of your trip and it entitles you to unlimited refills at any of the Disney Resort Hotels for the length of your stay. The mug comes equipped with an RFID chip, which communicates directly with the soda fountain machine to indicate if the mug is still valid.

Let's talk about what a refillable mug is. They're also called a Rapid-Fill Mug, which is a 16oz insulated coffee mug that can be purchased for $21.99. Guests can use it at their resort (or at any other participating Disney resort) for the length of their stay, up to 14 days.
