How do I add family members to miles and More?

The ?Mileage Pooling? function has been set up in your account. An invitation can be made by entering the service card number of the member to be invited under ?Invite members?. A maximum of one additional adult and up to five children/adolescents can be invited.

Adding family members to your Miles & More account is done through the "Mileage Pooling" feature. In 2026, this allow up to two adults and five children to combine their award miles into a shared pool. To set this up, you must log into your account on the Miles & More website or app, go to the "Program" or "Mileage Pooling" section, and send an invitation via the service card number of the person you want to add. Once the other person accepts the invitation, all earned award miles from both accounts will be visible in the pool and can be used by either adult to book rewards. It is important to note that you can only be a member of one pool at a time, and you must remain in the pool for at least six months before leaving. This is a highly effective way for families to reach the mileage requirements for business-class upgrades or free flights significantly faster than they would individually.
