If you ordered food:
- Once you receive your order, open the Uber Eats app again.

- Tap Save and continue to confirm your tip amount.
Tipping is always optional. However, we encourage you to tip every time you order with Uber Eats.

If you don't want to tip your Uber driver, you don't have to. When your driver rates you, they also won't know if you've tipped, so a bad tip — or no tip — won't affect your rating.

It depends on what you mean by “tip wrong.” If you mean you wrote down a number as the tip and then added it up wrong for the total, it could go either way. Some servers will never notice the math error and just enter the total you wrote as the final sale amount.

If you've waited longer than 15 minutes and the food still isn't ready, you can cancel the order through the app. Tap Excessive wait time when prompted for a reason.

Uber Eats Cancellation Policy If you cancel everything before the restaurant accepts the order, then you'll receive a complete refund. If the eatery already accepted the food delivery, then you'll get a partial refund. You get a partial refund if the cancellation takes place before the delivery driver gathered the food.

If an entire order is incorrect, the customer is refunded for the sales price of the entire order (including tax/VAT) and the delivery fee. Total refunds (less delivery fees) are deducted directly from restaurant payouts. This information is reflected in your Uber Eats Weekly Pay Statement email within 1-2 weeks.
