Unlike Flying Club Miles, Virgin Points will never expire. This means you have as much time as you need to redeem your Virgin Points, which have exactly the same value as miles. So no matter what life throws at you, your points are yours to use now or in the future.
Log in to the Virgin Red app or website and your balance will show at the top of the screen. To see your individual transactions head over to the account tab and select Activity. If you have any questions about your balance or transactions please contact the Virgin Red Support team for help.
The world is very much your oyster with 20,000 points in your account, as that's enough for a return flight from the UK New York and the Caribbean,* while a trip to Washington or Boston could be on the cards with a reward seat starting from 18,000 Virgin Points plus taxes.
It costs £15/$25 for every 1,000 base points purchased. For example, if a member buys or gifts 1,000 base points they will pay £30/$47, if they buy or gift 5,000 base points they will pay £90/$147 and if they buy or gift 10,000 base points they will pay £165/$272.
It's just a name change so instead of the currency being called Flying Club Miles we'll now refer to them as Virgin Points. However, unlike Flying Club Miles, Virgin Points will never expire.
