Getting Your Ticket
- You'll receive your eTicket as a PDF attachment to your emailed receipt. You can even retrieve your eTicket in the app.
- Open the eTicket PDF on your mobile device. You can even print your eTicket before arriving at the station.
- Simply show the eTicket barcode and your ID to the conductor.
An e-ticket will either allow you to travel ticketless—boarding the train with only the PNR code—or will require you to print a ticket upon departure using one of the self-service machines at the train station.

An electronic ticket is a non-physical ticket issued by the airline and stored in the airline's system in the place of physical tickets. Some e-tickets are issued immediately after booking and others may be issued closer to departure. You will receive your e-ticket no later than 24 hours before departure.

Besides providing itinerary details, an e-ticket itinerary receipt also contains: An official ticket number (including the airline's 3-digit ticketing code, a 4-digit form number, a 6-digit serial number, and sometimes a check digit) Carriage terms and conditions (or at least a reference to them)

You can show your E-tickets on your phone, as long as the barcode is clearly visible on entry.

HOW TO USE E-TICKETS. Each e-ticket is scanned at the entrance to the venue and its validity is checked using the unique and different barcode (usually QR code) for each ticket.

If you prefer, 24 hours before your flight, you can check-in online using your confirmation or ticket number from your e-ticket receipt on the airline's official website, and if you choose, print your boarding passes, send scannable copies to your smartphone, or both.

The e-ticket receipt often looks similar to an old-style paper ticket but doesn't need to be presented at the check-in counter on the day of your flight (although we suggest you have it with you, just in case as it serves as proof that your ticket was issued).

Regardless of the ticket platform used for the delivery of your tickets, you just need the name and email of the person to whom you're transferring tickets. This person will then receive the same email you received notifying them that tickets have been transferred to them.

Can I use a screenshot of my mobile ticket to enter? Your barcode includes technology to protect it, so you won't be able to use screenshots or print outs.

The RDG later confirmed that screenshots of tickets may be accepted as valid tickets if the barcode can be validated by an inspector using a scanner, but it said this is not recommended as it increases the chances of the ticket becoming obscured and unreadable.

Digital tickets are delivered via email and can be printed out or shown on a device at the event. Mobile tickets are similar to digital tickets, but they're specifically designed to be displayed on a smartphone.
