How do I find the most viewed plane on flight radar?

Flightradar24 Support center To access the “Most tracked flights” section on our mobile app, you should place your finger just under the top search bar and swipe down. Then more info will be revealed and you will be able to see the “Most tracked flights” tab there as well.

To find the most viewed (tracked) plane on Flightradar24 in 2026, you can use the built-in "Most Tracked" feature. On the mobile app, look for the top search bar on the main map screen and swipe down slightly; this will reveal a panel showing the top 10 most tracked flights in real-time. On the desktop website, this list is often found on the right-hand side or under the "Data/Statistics" tab. These flights are ranked by the number of active users currently following that specific aircraft. Often, the most viewed planes are those experiencing emergencies (Squawk 7700), military aircraft in sensitive zones, or flights carrying high-profile celebrities or world leaders. In 2026, AI-driven notifications can also alert you when a flight suddenly gains a massive spike in viewers, often indicating a significant breaking news event or weather diversion.

FlightRadar gives detailed information about all flights in the near future and the past while Plane Finder shows flights which have departed and are in the air. You can't see flights in the future. A point for FlightRadar. Plane Finder allows you to set multiple Filters at once, FlightRadar doesn't.

While it may sound shocking to some, the simple fact is that some aircraft may simply not have their transponder on, or it may be temporarily off, or they may be carrying passengers or cargo, which warrant deactivation. In addition, not all airspace activity is always relayed to FlightRadar24 at all times.

The numbers are in meters. If the plane is below 100 meters in altitude, the trail will be white. If it is above 100 meters, the trail will yellow, then green, then above 2500 meters it will become light blue, then dark blue, purple and for the highest altitude it will be red. I hope this helps.

A Squawk 7700 indicates an emergency. This can be an emergency of any kind. Pilots may input it into the transponder themselves – or when instructed to do so by ATC. As a result, ground control will know that the aircraft is dealing with a serious issue and needs help.

Code 7600. Code 7600 is the code for a loss of radio. If a pilot's radio goes out during a fight, they can enter 7600 into the transponder. Then they should proceed to their intended airport following a standard landing plan. Pilots should be extra careful and on alert for other aircraft around them in the sky.
