Can I pay for Uber with cash? Yes, you can pay with cash. Before requesting a ride, go to the Payment section in the app and select Cash. At the end of your trip, pay cash directly to your driver.
If you can't provide an ID, you can send us an alternative document. This document must contain your name and any additional information required (e.g. mailing address or date of birth). 100% of tips go to drivers. After a ride, you can choose to tip your driver with cash or through the Lyft app. Tips added in the app are charged to the card on file. Lyft credit can't be used to tip drivers.
