How do I get to Platinum Marriott?

Unlike other hotel chains, there is just one way to become a Marriott Platinum elite member: stay 50 nights in a year in a Marriott (not necessarily consecutively). Once you've hit 50 nights, you'll automatically be awarded Platinum status.
