How do I know if memory maker is linked?

Now, anytime we come across a PhotoPass photographer, we take as many pictures as we can to document our adventures! To make sure that Memory Maker is linked to your account, log on to your My Disney Experience account and scroll down to "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets".

To verify if your Memory Maker is correctly linked in 2026, open the My Disney Experience app and navigate to the "Photos" or "PhotoPass" section. If the product is linked, you should see your photos without the "Disney PhotoPass" watermark. You can also check under "My Tickets & Passes" or "Tickets and Memory Maker" in the main menu; if correctly assigned, it will appear as an active entitlement. If your photos still have a watermark, tap on a photo and look for an "Activate" button; sometimes you must manually activate the entitlement once you've taken your first photo. If you are traveling as a group, ensure the person who purchased the Memory Maker is "Friends & Family" with everyone in the party. If it's been several hours and photos aren't appearing or watermarks remain, visit a "PhotoPass Studio" at any park entrance for immediate technical assistance.

Great question! Here are several ways to check if your Memory Maker is linked to your Disney account:

Easiest Ways to Check:

1. Check Your Disney Experience Account Online:

  • Log into your My Disney Experience account
  • Go to “My Plans” or “My Profile”
  • Look for “Memory Maker” in your purchased items or linked tickets section
  • If it’s linked, you should see it listed with your name

2. Check the Mobile App:

  • Open the My Disney Experience app
  • Tap the three horizontal lines (menu) in the bottom right
  • Go to “Tickets and Passes”
  • Look for Memory Maker in your linked items

3. Look for Photo Downloads:

  • If you’ve already taken photos in the parks with PhotoPass photographers:
  • Check if your ride photos automatically appear in your account
  • See if you can download watermarked previews (watermarks mean it’s linked but not purchased; no watermarks mean Memory Maker is active)

Verification Steps:

4. Take a Test Photo:

  • Visit any PhotoPass photographer in the parks
  • Have them scan your MagicBand, card, or app code
  • Ask them to confirm it’s linked to Memory Maker
  • Check if the photo appears in your account within 30 minutes

5. Check Photo Downloads:

  • If you can download full-resolution photos without watermarks, Memory Maker is active and linked
  • If photos have Disney watermarks, Memory Maker isn’t linked or active

If You’re Having Trouble:

6. Contact Disney:

  • Visit any Guest Relations location in the parks
  • Call Disney PhotoPass at 407-560-4300
  • Use the Chat feature in the My Disney Experience app

7. Linking Tips:

  • Memory Maker must be linked to ONE My Disney Experience account
  • All members of your Family & Friends list will have their photos included
  • Make sure your Memory Maker purchase confirmation number is linked in your account

Pro Tip: Memory Maker is linked to your account, not to individual tickets. Once linked, it covers everyone in your Family & Friends list who are connected and sharing photos.
