How do I Link my hotel to my Disneyland app?

After you download and install the Disneyland mobile app, you can link reservations at a Disneyland Resort Hotel by tapping the ?My Hotel Reservations? button. You'll find that button in the ?more? screen accessed by the button in the lower right-hand corner of the app.

To link your hotel stay to the Disneyland app (Disneyland Resort App), you must first ensure you have an active Disney account. Open the app and tap the three horizontal lines (the "hamburger" menu) in the bottom right corner, then select "My Hotel Reservations." From there, you will see an option to "Link a Reservation." You will need to enter your confirmation number (which can be found in your email from Disney or your travel agent) and the last name of the lead guest on the booking. If you booked a "Good Neighbor" hotel package via the Disney website, it should link automatically, but for third-party bookings, you may need the specific "Disney Confirmation Number," which is often different from the hotel's own system code. Once linked, you can use the app to view your reservation details, participate in the "Online Check-in" service, and even use your phone as a "Digital Key" to enter your room at Disney-owned hotels, streamlining your arrival process significantly.

Linking your hotel reservation to the Disneyland app (or the Disneyland Mobile App) allows you to access benefits like early park entry (if eligible), view your stay details, and manage your reservation. Here’s how to do it:

Steps to Link Your Hotel to the Disneyland App

  1. Ensure You Have a Disney Account
    - If you don’t already have one, create a Disney account at Disneyland.com or in the app.

  2. Open the Disneyland App
    - Download the Disneyland app (available for iOS & Android).

  3. Sign In to Your Account
    - Open the app and log in with your Disney account.

  4. Link Your Hotel Reservation
    - If you booked through Disney:

    • Your reservation should automatically appear under “My Hotel Reservations” in the app.
    • If not, tap ☰ (Menu) → Hotel Reservations → Link Reservation and enter your confirmation number.
    • If you booked through a third party (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.):
    • You’ll need the Disney hotel confirmation number (not the third-party booking number).
    • Contact the hotel or check your email for the Disney-specific reservation number.
    • Go to ☰ (Menu) → Hotel Reservations → Link Reservation and enter the Disney confirmation number.
  5. Verify Your Stay
    - Once linked, your hotel details (check-in date, room type, etc.) should appear in the app.
    - If you have Early Entry benefits (for Disney-owned hotels), they’ll be reflected in your app.

Troubleshooting

  • “Reservation Not Found” Error?
  • Double-check your confirmation number (Disney’s system may take 24–48 hours to sync).
  • Call Disney reservations at (714) 520-5060 for help.
  • Staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel?
  • These hotels don’t link to the app but may offer their own shuttle services or perks.

I didn't feel like I had to maximize my time in the park and push through being tired or in pain because I could take a break whenever I wanted; the room is just 10 minutes away! If you're debating it, and you have the extra money, definitely stay onsite. I won't ever stay off-site at a Disney resort ever again.
