- Log in and go to Settings> Account.
- Tap Pay.
- Choose to pay the full amount or a different amount.
- If paying a different amount, enter the amount you'd like to pay.
- Tap Pay now.
If you're loading earnings to your debit card, in most instances you'll receive your cash right away. If you're transferring earnings to a bank account, processing times can vary depending on your bank. Some banks may take a few days to make your funds available.

Sometimes the receiving bank will not post the deposit until the end of the day. For example, my bank runs the day's activity between 6 and 7 p.m., so when my Uber pay arrives, it doesn't show up until after 7 p.m. If your pay hasn't arrived by Friday morning, you might first contact your bank, then contact Uber.

For some cards that customers use as their payment method on the Uber platform, Uber might charge the upfront price of a trip before a trip is completed. This will help ensure that sufficient funds are present to cover a service from a partner of the app, such as a ride or a merchant delivery.

How it works: After you've been waiting for a rider for 2 minutes, a fee will be charged to them for the time you continue to wait. After you've been waiting for 5 minutes, you can choose to cancel the trip or continue to wait. A cancellation fee will still only be charged after you've waited for at least 5 minutes.

Once you arrive at the pickup spot and have waited 2 minutes, you'll get paid a per-minute fee. The fee will automatically be added to your fare. If there is surge in the area, a higher wait-time fee will be added to the per-minute fee. You can charge riders a cancellation fee after waiting 7 minutes.

After you've been waiting for 5 minutes, you can choose to cancel the trip or continue to wait. A cancellation fee will still only be charged after you've waited for at least 5 minutes.

You can cancel a trip at any time through the Uber app, but may be charged a cancellation fee if you cancel after you're matched with your driver. Cancellation fees pay drivers for the time and effort they spend getting to your location.

If it's been over 2 minutes since the driver accepted the trip request a passenger will be charged a $5 cancellation fee. Bear in mind it might seem like your driver is “taking too long” because they are completing their last trip and those passengers have done something to delay dropping them off.
