How do I relink my old MagicBand?

Please scroll down and click on your name. Then, find the MagicBand you wish to use, and please be sure it says “Active” above its 12-digit code. If it says “Inactive” please click on the button that says “Activate”. All of your entitlements and reservations will be automatically linked to your MagicBand, Roberta.

To make sure your band is linked correctly you can log in to your My Disney Experience App. To get there log in, and find the Magic Band option in the drop down menu. If you have a Magic Band from a previous trip that you would like to use, you can make sure that the band you have is still linked to your account.

Just make sure they're active. One thing thats a slight bummer is cannot use them to buy points at resort arcades but thats life. They will work for purchases and tapping into rides. But they won't link the ride photos that don't have a touch point.

REUSE THEM If you've customized one of your bands or grown partial to a special edition band you purchased, you can reuse a band from a previous trip. Generally, the battery life of MagicBands is between 2-5 years, though the MagicBand+ may last longer because they are rechargeable.
