How do I scan my Disney ticket?

You'll either tap your MagicBand or scan your Disney MagicMobile pass to scan into the parks. Since MagicBands and your Disney MagicMobile pass are both connected to your My Disney Experience account, they should automatically be able to access your tickets.

In 2026, the primary method for scanning your Disney ticket is through the Disney MagicMobile service or a MagicBand/MagicBand+. To use MagicMobile, you simply add your digital ticket to the "Wallet" on your iPhone, Apple Watch, or Android device via the My Disney Experience app. When you reach the park entrance (the "tapstiles"), you don't even need to wake your phone; just hold the top of your device or your watch face near the illuminated circular Mickey reader. The reader will turn green once it recognizes your admission. Alternatively, if you are using a MagicBand+, you simply tap the "Mickey to Mickey"—pressing the center of the band against the touchpoint. For security, guests are also required to place a finger on the adjacent biometric scanner (or use facial recognition if opted-in) to verify their identity. If you prefer a "low-tech" option, you can still visit a ticket window to receive a physical plastic card, which you tap against the same readers. In 2026, the system is designed to be "frictionless," allowing you to walk into the magic with a simple wave of your wrist or a tap of your phone.
