How do I share my Uber with someone?

  1. Request your ride. Tap to open the app and request a ride as you normally would. ...
  2. Share your status. Select up to 5 people from your contact list you want to share your status with.
  3. Be on your way. Those people will receive a text with a link containing your trip details.

Share your trip with any of your phone contacts:
  1. You'll first need to select Share your trip, then Share my ride.
  2. Then click Add to select one of your phone contacts.
  3. Then Share to allow them to track your trip door-to-door.
