How do I stop Lyft from texting me?

You may opt out of receiving all messages from Lyft, including transactional messages. Text STOPALL to 46080 on your device receiving the messages. Note that opting out of receiving all texts may impact your use of the Lyft app.

You can stop Lyft from sending you various types of text notifications by using standard "keyword" replies. To opt-out of promotional or marketing texts, simply text "END" to 46080. If you wish to stop all messages from Lyft, including transactional updates like "Your driver is here" or receipts, you should text "STOPALL" to the same number. Keep in mind that opting out of transactional messages can make using the app difficult, as you won't receive real-time updates about your ride's status. Alternatively, you can manage your communication preferences within the Lyft app by navigating to Settings > Notifications, where you can toggle off specific types of SMS, email, or push notifications. In 2026, Lyft also allows you to "Snooze" notifications for a set period if you only want a temporary break from their marketing outreach.
