How do you carry all your stuff at Disney?

Guests are welcome to carry a bag or backpack with them into the theme parks. The maximum allowable bag size is 24 by 18 by 15. All Guests and their bags will undergo a security screening process prior to entering the theme parks and Disney Springs.

To manage your gear at Disney in 2026, the "Golden Rule" is minimalism combined with strategic storage. Most veterans recommend a medium-sized, lightweight backpack for essentials like portable chargers, sunscreen, and ponchos. For families with young children, the stroller serves as the primary "mobile base camp" for snacks and extra clothes. If you don't want to carry a bag all day, Disney offers daily locker rentals near the park entrances, which are ideal for storing heavy jackets or souvenirs purchased mid-day. In 2026, many guests also utilize "merchandise delivery" to their Disney Resort hotel (if staying on-site) to avoid carrying bags at all. A popular 2026 trend is the "sling bag" for tech essentials, paired with a reusable water bottle clipped to a belt loop, ensuring you stay "hands-free" for mobile ordering food and navigating the Disney Genie+ interface on your phone.
