How do you get a just engaged pin at Disneyland?

After your proposal, please visit any Disney gift shop at the parks to pick up a complimentary “Just engaged” button. Mickey and his friends will be so happy to celebrate you both as you enjoy the rest of your visit!

To get a "Just Engaged" celebration button at Disneyland Resort, you simply need to visit almost any Guest Relations location or a major indoor merchandise shop and ask for one. The most common spots to find them are City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A., in Disneyland Park, or Chamber of Commerce on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure. These buttons are complimentary (free of charge) and are a beloved tradition for guests celebrating milestones. While "Just Engaged" is a specific category, Cast Members sometimes use a generic "I'm Celebrating" button and write "Our Engagement" on it with a permanent marker if the specific themed pin is out of stock. Beyond guest services, many resort hotel front desks and larger shops like World of Disney in Downtown Disney also keep a supply behind the counter. Wearing the pin often leads to "magical moments," such as Congratulatory shout-outs from characters, extra attention from Cast Members, and occasionally a special treat or a better table at a restaurant, though these perks are never guaranteed.
