How do you get alcohol on a Carnival cruise?

can be purchased at www.carnival.com/drink-packages or by contacting The Fun Shops department at 800-522-7648, Monday - Sunday, 9:00am - 9:00pm ET. Cut-off for pre-purchase online is 11:59pm ET, the evening prior to the cruise departure.

On a Carnival cruise in 2026, you can obtain alcohol through four primary methods: purchasing the CHEERS! Beverage Program, buying individual drinks at onboard bars, ordering through The Fun Shops, or bringing a limited amount on board. The CHEERS! package is a flat daily rate that allows up to 15 alcoholic drinks per 24-hour period. If you prefer to bring your own, Carnival allows each adult (21+) to bring one 750ml bottle of sealed wine or champagne in their carry-on luggage during embarkation; however, a $15 corkage fee applies if consumed in the dining room. You can also pre-order spirits, wine, or beer through The Fun Shops for delivery to your stateroom, though these bottles are intended for "in-stateroom entertainment" and generally cannot be taken into public areas. Note that for cruises departing from "dry state" ports like Galveston or Mobile, alcohol ordered through the shop is often not delivered until the second day of the voyage. Any alcohol purchased at a port of call or the onboard Duty-Free shop will be held by security and returned to you on the final morning of the cruise.
