All Wayne State University students should purchase their parking permit online. Log in using your Access ID, select Purchase Permits and follow the instructions. Please note, you must have your vehicle information (license plate, make, model and year) to purchase your parking pass online.

To enter a general parking lot, swipe your WSU OneCard and the fee will be debited from your account. To exit the parking area, swipe your WSU OneCard again. Using your OneCard debit to park for over 24 hours is a violation of the WSU OneCard and Parking Policy.

Immediately after parking, enter the license plate number and payment into the pay station in the lot or via the MSU SPOT ON app. Parking rates are $2 per hour. Pay stations accept credit/debit cards or cash/coin ($1s & $5s only). They do not give change back nor are refunds issued for time paid but not used.

Historic Park City is FREE. Swede Alley lots, covered levels of China Bridge and the upper level of Gateway garage are the closest free parking areas to Main Street (4-hour limits). On-Street Parking The rate is $1.25/hour with a $0.75 minimum payment for cards. You can also pay remotely with Parkmobile. Meters are enforced from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and most Sundays are free. Parking is not permitted between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.
